Domingo helps people learn Spanish through guided practice, video-based lessons, and vocabulary review. To provide that experience, we may collect information needed to create accounts, personalize learning, and keep the service reliable.
Information we may collect
- Account information such as your name, email address, and sign-in details.
- Learning activity such as course progress, completed lessons, saved words, and streak history.
- Purchase and subscription status needed to unlock paid features.
- Technical information such as device type, app version, and basic diagnostics used to improve performance and fix problems.
- Attribution and marketing information such as campaign parameters, referral source, and app event data used to measure installs, registrations, trial starts, and subscriptions.
- Advertising-related identifiers, such as mobile device advertising identifiers, where available and permitted by your device settings and platform permissions.
How we use information
- To create and manage your account.
- To personalize your learning plan and in-app experience.
- To sync your progress across devices.
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To monitor quality, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
- To measure marketing performance and understand which campaigns lead to app installs, sign-ups, trials, and subscriptions.

How information may be shared
Domingo may work with service providers that help operate the app, such as authentication, payments, analytics, advertising measurement, hosting, and customer support. This may include providers such as AppsFlyer that help us measure ad performance and app conversions. These providers may process data on our behalf only as needed to deliver the service or measure campaign effectiveness. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the service, or our rights.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you request account deletion, we will remove or anonymize personal information where reasonably possible.
Your choices
- You can request account deletion from the app.
- You can contact us through the support page to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information.
- You can manage subscriptions through Apple or Google account settings.
- On supported devices, you can control app tracking through your device privacy settings, including the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt.
